The Center for External Affairs, together with the Federation of Student Governments and Social Science Guild, closed the 55th ASEAN Month celebration with a Flag Retreat ceremony at the University Plaza on August 26, 2022. Aside from the students of the partner organizations, administrators, faculty, and staff were also present during the event. Among those in attendance were Rhoderick K. Samonte, Director for External Affairs, Leah L. Fernandez, PhD, Director for Research and Development Services, Janet P. Espinosa, PhD, Director for Student Affairs and Services, Ana Mary Ann H. Pancho, Director for Alumni Affairs, Juben G. Palermo, Director for Guidance Services, Elvie S. Samson, PhD, Director for Gender and Development, and Rebecca C. Gegantoni, Records Officer.
Guests were then treated to a fellowship feast entitled “Indoguna Utama” in front of the University Cafeteria. The spread featured a variety of foods originating from the different ASEAN member countries.
