CHR-NIR introduces Center for Human Rights Education program to CHMSU

Partners from the Commission on Human Rights – Negros Island Region (CHR-NIR) were warmly welcomed this morning at the CHMSU Talisay Campus to explore a potential partnership.

Director for Internationalization and External Relations Rhoderick Samonte met with CHR-NIR Officer-in-Charge Atty. Gazzelenne Corsame-Fuentes, Atty. Ian Blanco, and Information Officer Leonil Espinosa.

During the visit, the CHR-NIR team introduced the Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE), one of the Commission’s flagship programs.

CHR-NIR also turned over reading materials on human rights. They were then given a tour of the campus by CHMSU Information Officer Keith Brandon Cari-an to learn more about the university’s academic programs and support services.
