As part of the partnership between CHMSU and BPI Foundation, the faculty and staff of the university underwent the FinEd Unboxed training of trainers held at the University Library, Talisay Campus, afternoon of August 19, 2025.
The training equipped trainors from CHMSU on how to run the FinEd Unboxed sessions and utilize the tools for the financial literacy program.

The newly trainer trainers from the university are faculty members of the College of Business Management and Accountancy, as well as staff and external campuses coordinators of the Center for Internationalization and External Relations.
The BPI Foundation’s FinEd Unboxed is a financial literacy program designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to manage their finances effectively. It is set to be rolled out to CHMSU students and partner communities.
The training was facilitated by Program Manager Gladys Malapo of BPI Foundation together with volunteer speakers from the Bank of the Philippine Island branches in Bacolod City and Negros Occidental.
Also present were Executive Director Ma. Carmina Marquez and Head for Financial Education and Art Management Manolo Roberto Nava.
