The Social Science Guild successfully convened its 2nd General Assembly on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the University Gymnasium, Talisay (Main) Campus. The event gathered Bachelor of Arts in Social Science students from first through fourth year, together with Guild Adviser Dr. May C. Peracullo, for an afternoon of collaboration, transparency, and shared commitment.
The assembly served as a vital platform for strengthening unity among members while reinforcing the Guild’s mission of leadership, academic excellence, and student empowerment.

Key highlights of the program included the presentation of the Financial Report and Accomplishment Report, both of which underscored the organization’s dedication to transparency and accountability. The reports detailed completed initiatives, current financial standing, and overall organizational progress.
An open forum followed the presentations, providing students the opportunity to voice concerns, share insights, and offer recommendations for upcoming activities. The active participation demonstrated the Guild’s commitment to inclusive leadership and meaningful engagement.
Through constructive dialogue and collective reflection, the 2nd General Assembly reaffirmed the Social Science Guild’s continued dedication to fostering a strong, empowered academic community.
