Students at the CHMSU Fortune Towne Campus learned how technology plays a vital role in disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery through the Podbokasiya screening held on February 26, 2026, at the Function Hall.
CHMSUans from the College of Business Management and Accountancy and the College of Computer Studies also used the video podcast screening as an opportunity to raise questions about various DRRM protocols observed at the Fortune Towne Campus during the open forum segment of the activity.

DRRM Coordinator Jethro Dagunan urged students to take fire and earthquake drills seriously, viewing them as a chance to practice and familiarize themselves with the school’s emergency routes.
Meanwhile, OSAS Coordinator Mila Ethel De Los Reyes reminded participants of the power they hold online. She encouraged students to use technology responsibly — by posting and sharing only verified announcements and advisories — to help keep fellow students informed, especially during times of disaster.
The event was also actively participated in by the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps and the Red Cross Youth CHMSU Fortune Towne Campus Chapter.
The event was facilitated by CIER Coordinator Jay Jay Pisueña and information officers Keith Brandon Cari-an and Ma. Faustina Magbanua.
