They also introduced the International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program) of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan.
The INTENSE Program was launched in 2024 to attract international students to study STEM, Finance, and Semiconductor fields, with graduates required to remain in Taiwan for work after completing their studies.
The program offers comprehensive financial support including a one-way airfare, tuition subsidies for up to two years, and a monthly living allowance.
Students also benefit from paid internships and guaranteed job placement upon graduation, with funding provided through a government-enterprise scholarship collaboration.
