Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) proudly supports Khent Benedict Balulot, a 3rd-year Computer Engineering student, for earning the distinct honor of representing the Philippines at the World of Dance Summit 2026, currently taking place in Anaheim, California from July 7 to 10, 2026.
Khent’s achievement is a testament to his exceptional balance of academic excellence and artistic passion. A consistent honor student, he has received numerous local and national recognitions in his field of study.
Outside the classroom, he has channeled his creativity and discipline into the performing arts as an active member of VMDT (Vicentinian Maraynon Dagyaw Theatre), where he has distinguished himself as both a dedicated performer and a skilled choreographer.

It is this rare combination of academic rigor and artistic excellence that has propelled Khent onto the international stage, where he will now compete among the world’s best dancers and choreographers.
As Khent proudly represents both CHMSU and the Philippines at this global event, the university community is rallying behind him, celebrating not only his individual achievement but also the values of hard work, discipline, and cultural pride that he embodies.
The University calls on the wider CHMSUan community, alumni, partners, and friends to join in supporting Khent as he carries the CHMSU banner and the Philippine flag onto the world stage at the World of Dance Summit 2026.
