Doors to international study, internship, and work opened this afternoon as graduating students and alumni of CHMSU Alijis Campus gathered at the Audio Visual Room for the Taiwan INTENSE Program Info Session, August 13, 2026.

Leading the session was the International Talent Circulation Base Philippines (INTACT Base), represented by Deputy CEO Krystl Lim, Consultant Nemia Mabaquiao, Program Officer Brian Chen, and staff from their Iloilo Office.
The International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (Taiwan INTENSE Program) is a government-supported education and career pathway that opens doors for international students in Taiwan.
Graduating students and alumni from the College of Computer Studies, College of Engineering, and College of Industrial Technology filled the room, eager to learn what the program could offer them.

The highlight of the afternoon came with an endorsement awarding ceremony, honoring Engr. Joshua Cordova, a BS Computer Engineering graduate of Class 2026, who has been accepted into the program and is set to leave for Taiwan on September 6, 2026. Engr. Cordova learned about the program from an online info session held last March 2026 where CHMSU was invited.
On hand to welcome the INTACT Base delegation were CCS Dean Joe Marie Dormido, BS Computer Studies Program Chair Engr. Ronn Elly Pedregosa, BS Electronics Engineering faculty Engr. Rene Salmingo, CIER Coordinator Charmaine Sabio, and Information Officer Keith Brandon Cari-an.
By the end of the session, questions were answered, curiosity was sparked, and one message was clear: for CHMSUans dreaming of working abroad, now is the time to start preparing their applications.
