Bacolod City Health Office conducts talk on lung health, tuberculosis

In celebration of the National Lung Month, the Bacolod City Health Office conducted a health talk at Fortune Towne Campus after the Monday flag ceremony, August 24, 2026 at the campus covered court.

Participated by students, faculty, and staff, the brief talk raised awareness on tuberculosis prevention and lung health.

The Bacolod CHO team was led by Dr. Shirley Rodrigazo, medical officer, who discussed the effects and treatment of tuberculosis. She also touched on ways to take care of one’s respiratory system.

She was accompanied by nurses Kay Marie Malapitan, Ariane EspaƱola, and Mary Joy Dales.

The health professionals from the city government were warmly welcomed by College of Business Management and Accountancy Dean Nenette Padilla.
