Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) launched a simultaneous FreeCycle event across its four campuses on September 25, 2026, bringing CHMSUans together to give pre-loved items a second life while promoting sustainability and responsible consumption.

Dubbed FreeCycle Day 2026, the initiative encouraged students, faculty, staff, personnel, friends, and stakeholders to donate and share usable items with others in the university community.
