CHMSU students honor educators on World Teachers’ Day

Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) celebrated World Teachers’ Day across its campuses, organized and spearheaded by the University Student Government and student-led organizations across all campuses, bringing together the university community to honor the dedication, passion, and invaluable contributions of its educators.

The Alijis Campus honored its educators on October 5, 2026 through a dance number performed by CHMSU-A Performing Arts and MassKara Dancers Lance Fernandez and Shane Ochoa, role playing performances from the campus college councils, and heartfelt tributes, including a special theme and video presentation by the Multimedia Club, celebrating the dedication and impact of teachers.

The Binalbagan Campus expressed its gratitude through an opening salvo by Alindayaw Performing Arts, Handog Pasasalamat highlighted by a series of performances, and a moving theater performance by The Istoryador, paying tribute to the educators who continue to inspire CHMSUans on October 6, 2026.

The Fortune Towne Campus shared heartfelt appreciation through a video tribute “Mga Mensahe sang Pasalamat” and binalaybay presentation “Tingog: Mga Pulong Para sa Manunudlo”, alongside BIHANDOG, a meaningful gesture of gratitude through appreciation and gift-giving on October 5, 2026

The Talisay Campus celebrated its teachers on October 6, 2026 through video greetings, Teachers’ Memory Lane, open karaoke and vocal performances, and the giving of tokens—creating a joyful tribute to the educators who shape the CHMSU community.
