Faculty members from across the four campuses gathered for the Institutional Faculty Assembly and Orientation at the Multi-purpose Gym, Talisay (Main) Campus on September 15, 2022. This event aimed to keep the faculty in the loop about the University’s latest accomplishments and plans for this Academic Year, while also serving as a venue to discuss relevant concerns. In his welcoming remarks, University President Norberto P. Mangulabnan, Ph.D. expressed his utmost support for the efforts on faculty development and reiterated his threefold agenda for the University. There was also a brief video message from Civil Service Commission Chairman Atty. Karlo Alexei B. Nograles.
The program included presentations from the different offices of the Vice Presidents and updates on NBC 461, SUC Leveling, and IPCR. Former College Deans Marissa S. Quezon, PhD. (CBMA), Kristy Mae J. Magno, PhD., (CCJ), and Noralyn S. Esona, PhD. (COE) were also presented with certificates and tokens of appreciation for their service to the University. Cultural presentations of music and dance served as the event’s entertainment.
In the afternoon, an open forum was held and members of the faculty were able to raise questions on the conduct of face-to-face classes, facilities, and other matters.
