Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Class of 2026 holds pinning ceremony celebrating “Padayun Para sa Damgo: Pinning the Future of Society”

The Bachelor of Arts in Social Science (BASS) Class of 2026 held its Pinning Ceremony titled “Padayun Para sa Damgo: Pinning the Future of Society Class of 2026” on March 3, 2026, at the Multi-purpose Gymnasium, Talisay (Main) Campus.

The ceremony recognized the BASS 4th year students as they reached an important milestone in their academic journey. The pinning ceremony symbolizes the students’ dedication to the study of social sciences and their readiness to contribute to society through knowledge, leadership, and service.

Guided by the theme “Padayun Para sa Damgo,” which reflects perseverance in pursuing one’s dreams, the event celebrated the students’ determination to create meaningful change in their communities. Faculty members, families, and friends gathered to witness the symbolic pinning that acknowledged the students’ hard work and commitment throughout their years of study.

The highlight of the program was an inspiring message from guest speaker Elaine Mae G. Arriola, a BASS alumnus and former Social Science Guild president. In her address, Arriola shared her experiences and encouraged the students to remain steadfast in their goals, emphasizing the importance of social awareness, leadership, and service in shaping the future of society.

The ceremony served as both a celebration of achievement and a reminder of the responsibility carried by future social science professionals. As the Class of 2026 continues its journey toward graduation, the event marked their commitment to pursuing their dreams and contributing positively to society.
