The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) 4th year students marked a significant milestone in their academic journey during a Pining Ceremony held on February 20, 2026, at the 3rd Floor ETGB, Function Hall, Talisay (Main) Campus.
The ceremony signified the students’ transition from academic preparation to professional immersion as they prepare to begin their internship and pursue careers in the field of Information Systems. The event underscored the program’s commitment to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and professional values necessary to succeed in the technology industry.






The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Norberto Parcon, Internship Coordinator and GEEGAD Instructor. In his presentation, titled “Working like a Pro: Work Ethics and Professionalism,” Dr. Parcon emphasized the importance of integrity, accountability, discipline, and strong professional ethics in the workplace.
The Pining Ceremony highlighted the readiness of the BSIS students to take on real-world challenges and reaffirmed the institution’s dedication to developing competent, ethical, and industry-ready IT professionals.
