Third year BSHM students taking the course THC ENT- Entrepreneurship in Tourism and Hospitality opened a selling and showcase activity entitled EntrePinoy: A Competitive Entrepinoy Through Food Innovations and Creative Business Mindset on October 21, 2022 at the Global Learning Café (Dining Hall), Green Building, Talisay (Main) Campus. The activity was organized for students to showcase talents and creativity through food innovation and development, explain and discuss the process of food innovation during the event, execute entrepreneurial skills through marketing and financial management, and develop management skills and camaraderie towards fellow CHMSUans.
Welcome remarks were given by Engr. Russel M. Dela Torre, PhD, Dean, College of Industrial Technology, followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting. The whole activity was supervised by BSHM Department Chairperson Annielou V. Mana-ay, PhD and THC-ENT Instructors Gilbert V. Taguines, MHM, Zenaida H. Genolos, MHM, and Nieves Alba Barato, MBA-HRM.
