In celebration of the 13th Dental Health Month, CHMSC conducted today, February 24 a Dental Service Mission themed “CHMSC Shines for a healthier mouth and healthier you,” at the San Isidro Labrador Church grounds, Binalbagan.
The program started with an invocation and spiritual reflection led by Rev. Fr. Randy Bayog followed by the singing of the national anthem led by OSA staff Mel Stephen P. Amacan. CHMSC Binalbagan Campus Executive Director Joevelle B. Vergara delivered the welcome address and an opening message was given by Janet P. Espinosa, PhD, Director for Student Affairs and Services.
Dr. Ma. Generose S. Alunan, main campus school dentist introduced the guest lecturer, Dr. Christine Lou Centino, dentist of Binalbagan Campus who talked about healthy foods for the mouth, water as the number one drink, and regular brushing of teeth together with school nurses: Stephen Rey Real Cabardo, RN, Geraldine Edano, RN, Precious CaƱeso, RN, and Dominic M. Requina; they talked about proper hand washing to the residents of the municipality who participated in the dental service.
Thanks to the full support of the Alumni Affairs Office headed by Ana Mary Ann Pancho, Center for External Affairs, and the campus student governments of the four campuses.
Minimum health protocols were strictly observed. Face masks were removed only during the photo opportunity.
