The CHMSU 3ZERO Club participated in the 3Z ProConnect held at the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation Event Hall, on September 26, 2024.
The participants had the opportunity to connect and network with various experts in the field through mentoring sessions.
The CHMSUans who participated in the 3Z ProConnect received mentoring from experts to improve their proposals and funding opportunities.
Louise Beryl Nepomuceno, a first-year BS Civil Engineering student, presented his “Papelya” project.
This innovative and eco-friendly paper product is made from pineapple leaves. Its goal is to provide an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional paper, reduce agricultural waste, and promote sustainable practices.
Meanwhile, another group from CHMSU 3ZERO, consisting of Arabelle Carpio (BSIS 2C), Jeah Bulanon (BSED English), and BA Social Science students Wolverine Dymosco, Mar Joseph Marañon, and Erenea Ysabel) presented the “BottleShift Project.”
This project aims to tackle plastic waste by turning discarded plastic bottles into tools for sustainable living.
The group plans to produce recycled pots filled with vegetable seeds and create eco-friendly trash bins from plastic bottles collected within the school.
