In line with CHMSU’s unwavering commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly SDG 17 on Partnerships for the Goals—Rhoderick K. Samonte, Director for Internationalization and External Relations, participated in a roundtable discussion organized by Jollibee Group Foundation, Inc.
The event took place on Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Chowking Lacson Branch and centered on exchanging program ideas to tackle zero hunger and poverty, farmers’ entrepreneurship, food aid, microfinance, and other key development initiatives.
Spearheaded by JGF’s Program Manager for Partnerships and Operations, Didith Rosales, and Program Officer for Visayas and Mindanao, Liane Amat, the meeting also drew representatives from Kaisahan, Agro-Digital PH, Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc., and Chowking—one of Jollibee Food Corporation’s brands in the Negros Island Region.
