CHMSU celebrates World Teachers’ Day

Carlos Hilado Memorial State University, through the Office for Student Affairs and Services and the University Student Government, celebrated World Teachers’ Day with a showcase of talents at the Multi-purpose Gym, Talisay (Main) Campus.

World Teachers’ Day is held annually on October 5 to honor all educators around the globe.

Director for Student Affairs and Services Janet P. Espinosa, PhD welcomed the faculty and students to the event and praised all teachers for their service, especially during the distance learning setup. University President Norberto P. Mangulabnan, PhD also gave a brief message of thanks and congratulations to the teachers.

The audience was treated to performances from the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Industrial Technology, College of Education, Society of Physical Education Majors, and CHMSU Band Champs. Tokens of appreciation such as flowers and cakes were also given to members of the faculty.

World Teachers’ Day tributes were also conducted in the Alijis, Fortune Towne, and Binalbagan campuses as part of this university-wide celebration.
