The CHMSU Records Office officially turned over valueless records to the National Archives of the Philippines following the regulations of NAP General Circular No. 2 (Guidelines on the Disposal of Valueless Records in Government Agencies) on Feb. 20-21, 2025, at the Talisay Campus.
The turnover was supervised by NAP-Regional Area Network Cebu Representative Neil Desamparado and witnessed by the resident Auditor Mary Grace Delos Reyes of the Commission on Audit together with Regional COA Auditor Jo Ann Dulaca, and the Records Management and Improvement Committee headed by VP for Administration and Finance Rosalinda Tuvilla.
The mode of disposal was through the sale with NAP official buyer, D’Lacoste Enterprise with the signing held on Feb. 20, 2025.
RMIC member and University Records Management Officer Rebecca Gegantoni facilitated the actual disposal of CHMSU’s valueless records on Feb. 21, 2025.
The valueless records disposed were covered in the two NAP-approved Authority to Dispose Records (2023 and 2024) in compliance with Rule 31, Article 47 c-d of the IRR of RA 9470.
