CHMSU holds Institutional Faculty Assembly for AY 2025-2026

Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) educators from all four campuses convened at the Talisay Campus Multi-purpose Gym for the Institutional Faculty Assembly, signaling the start of Academic Year 2025–2026.

University President Norberto Mangulabnan began the assembly by presenting institutional milestones and achievements. Among the highlights were certifications, accolades, and recognitions awarded to CHMSU by regional, national, and international agencies and organizations.

Updates on instruction, hiring progress, and academic milestones came from Vice President for Academic Affairs Jay Estrellas. Meanwhile, Vice President for Administration and Finance Rosalinda Tuvilla discussed financial transparency, facility maintenance, employee capability-building, and policy implementation.

Assistant VPAA Ma. Riza Manalo, Officer-in-Charge Vice President for Research, Extension, and Intellectual Property, shared developments in research, community extension, and intellectual property management. She also introduced the strategic framework of OVPREIP for the academic year.

Faculty members from the Alijis, Binalbagan, Fortune Towne, and Talisay campuses engaged actively throughout the assembly. Clarifications on policies were raised, concerns were addressed, and feedback was provided in response to the presentations. An evaluation of administrators and designees also took place, allowing for constructive insights aimed at improving communication and service delivery.

Human Resource Management Officer Razel Mae Detablan and Supervising Administrative Officer Sharon Juance also responded to faculty queries, offering clarity on HR-related matters.

The institutional faculty assembly was hosted by Director Juben Palermo of the Office of the Guidance Services.
