CHMSU holds SDG workshop

INTEGRATING SDGs | On August 1-2, 2024, Carlos Hilado Memorial State University held the “Pathways to Sustainability: Understanding the SDGs and their Indicators” at Palmas del Mar Conference Resort Hotel in Bacolod City.

The activity was organized and spearheaded by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs led by VPAA Jay Estrellas.

The first day of the workshop centered on reviewing CHMSU’s sustainability journey with Director Rhoderick Samonte of the Center for Internationalization and External Relations.

Meanwhile, Director Yricka Marie Dusaran of the Quality Management Office discussed accelerating CHMSU’s commitment to SDG 2030 on day two.

The two-day workshop also included breakout sessions and plenary discussions in which the participating deans, directors, and coordinators huddled to identify evidence-based outputs, areas for improvement and innovation, and arrive at an action plan.
