The Hinigaran National High School team dominated the 19th Provincial Wildlife Quiz at Carlos Hilado Memorial State University Talisay Multipurpose Gym, Nov. 14, 2024.
Ashley Bernadette Bereña and Herbert Subteniente Jr. together with coach Salem Talaugon will represent the province of Negros Occidental in the National Wildlife Quiz on Nov. 28 in Butuan City.
Claiming second place was the Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod team comprised of Adrian Sean Torres and Johann Francis Cuachon who were coached by Plaridel Tison Jr.
The 19th Provincial Wildlife Quiz, in celebration of the 20th Provincial Wildlife Month, was made possible through the collaboration between the Provincial Environment Management Office, Philippines Biodiversity Conservation Foundation, Inc., Carlos Hilado Memorial State University, and DENR-Provincial Environment and Natural Resources.
The organizing team from CHMSU was led by the Center for Internationalization and External Relations, Event Management Team, the University Student Government, College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Education.
