A Memorandum of Agreement involving Carlos Hilado Memorial State University, IF Green Technologies, Bacolod Police Station 2, Association of Barangay Councils of Police Station (ABCOPS) 2, and the City Government of Bacolod, was signed earlier today, September 27, 2022, at the Function Hall, Green Building, Talisay (Main) Campus. This agreement, entitled “Bayanihan para sa Kauswagan” targets the implementation of the UN Sustainable Goals (SDGs) locally, especially at the barangay level.
In his message, IF Green Technologies CEO Engr. Ian Solas emphasized that the goal is to create multi-level partnerships that are beneficial to the community and are aligned to their three targets: space utilization, sustainability, and zero hunger. This endeavor was also conducted in line with the University’s Mission to empower learners through academic excellence, relevant research, active community engagement, and good governance.
The memorandum was signed by representatives of the involved parties, IF Green Technologies CEO Engr. Ian Solas, CHMSU Vice President for Research and Extension Andrew Eusebio S. Tan PhD, Bacolod City Police Station 2 Police Captain Paul Vincent Pendon, ABCOPS 2 President Hon. Rogelio A. Pabiania, Jr., and the Barangay Captains of the member barangays.
