Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) officially commenced its 2nd Surveillance External Audit on May 28, 2025, with an opening meeting held at the Fortune Towne Campus Audio Visual Room.
The meeting was attended by CHMSU top Management and auditees from both the Fortune Towne and Talisay campuses, led by CHMSU President Norberto Mangulabnan.
The auditing team from Certification International Philippines, Inc. (CIP) was led by Associate Senior Lead Auditor Renator Julian David, along with Deputy Head of Certification Sybil Paden, and CIP President and Managing Director Joselito Soler.
Pre. Mangulabnan warmly welcomed the external auditors, leading the CHMSU community to support the university’s ongoing quality assurance initiatives.
The first day of the audit concluded at the Talisay campus with a preliminary closing meeting and debriefing.
The auditors shared their initial observations and reported no non-conformities (NCs)—a positive indication of the university’s compliance with quality standards.
The two-day audit is organized and facilitated by CHMSU’s Quality Management Office, headed by Director Yrika Marie Dusaran.
The audit continues on May 29 with the final closing meeting and presentation of the final audit results in the afternoon.
