Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) warmly welcomed representatives from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) for their second ocular visit in the Alijis Campus, which is being considered as the future site of the DBM-Negros Island Regional Office.
The delegation, led by DBM Undersecretary Wilford Will Wong, Functional Group Head of the Local Government and Regional Operations Group and Director Atty. Ryan Lita of the Local Government and Regional Coordination Bureau, was received by CHMSU University President Norberto Mangulabnan.
They were accompanied by DBM Region VI officials, including Chief Budget and Management Specialist Cecile Lacson, Chief Administrative Officer Leah Deslate, and Supervising Administrative Officer Nemelynn Deloverjes.
The site inspection was conducted to assess the suitability of the Alijis Campus for the proposed DBM Regional Office. Pres. Mangulabnan was joined by Alijis Campus Executive Director Edwin Bugna, PPDM Director Engr. Jun Jun Marquez, ICT Director Engr. Russel de la Torre, GSO Unit Head Christopher Jamillo, and University Secretary Mary Leanne Laganhon.
