The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit of Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) successfully underwent the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) today, May 23, 2025.
The inspection was led by COL Michael Asuncion CE (GSC) PA, RAATI 2025 Chairperson, and aimed to evaluate the CHMSU ROTC unit’s administrative efficiency, tactical proficiency, resource management, and overall training quality.
LTC Nathaniel Villsor PA (RES) formally turned over the unit for inspection to COL Asuncion.
RAATI 2025 rigorously assessed the unit’s execution of military drills, command presence, discipline, and operational readiness. CHMSU emerged as a top performer in Western Visayas, earning an outstanding overall rating of 94.79%.
University President Dr. Norberto Mangulabnan, along with CHMSU officials, faculty, staff, and students, witnessed the display of excellence, discipline, and skill by CHMSUan cadets.
Also in attendance were NSTP Director Esther Leah Macatimpag and NSTP instructors from all CHMSU campuses, showing full support for the university’s commitment to leadership and service training.
