International Relations Officers across Negros Island Region convened in a conference and orientation on the CHED Memorandum Order No. 3, series of 2025, last June 27, 2025 at Siquijor State College.

Updated Guidelines for Securing Authority to Travel Abroadfor State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), is an updated guideline issued pursuant to Executive Order No. 77, series of 2019, entitled “Prescribing Rules and Regulations and Rates of Expenses and Allowances for Official Local and ForeignTravels of Government Personnel” and other relevant issuances governing local and foreign travels of government officials and personnel.
Director Samonte and Coordinator Pisueña took their oath as president and public information officer, respectively, of the inaugural CHED NIR International Relations Officers Council before CHED NIR Regional Director Raul Alvarez Jr.
Internationalization is one of the commission’s key priorities aimed at strengthening global engagement and enhancing higher education through international partnerships, academic exchanges, and cross-border collaboration.
