The World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) has invited Associate Professor Vanessa Joy Judith of the College of Education to become a guest editor for a WURI-themed issue of the Case Research journal.
During the announcement held on July 10, 2025 at the Annual Conference of the Hanseatic League of Universities, Prof. Judith was among the invited to become guest editors in five research journals including Case Research, AI Journal of Business, Journal of Mechanism Management, Journal of Sustainability Management, and ASSIST Business Review.

In her proposal, Prof. Judith proposed for the special issue to outline how WURI Rankings influence university management in the era of artificial intelligence (AI).
“It explores Al adoption in higher education, impact-driven pedagogy governance models, and comparisons with traditional rankings. The issue aims to offer case studies, best practices, and theoretical insights into Al-integrated university transformation aligned with WURI indicators,” her proposal said.
