The College of Arts and Sciences underwent the 3rd Quarter Extension and Community Services in-house review for its two terminal reports and six proposed programs, July 7, 2025 at the Research, Extension, and Innovation (REI) Hub Conference Room, Talisay Campus.
Vice President for Research, Extension, and Intellectual Property Andrew Eusebio Tan and CAS Dean Arjay Alvarado welcomed the panelists, presenters, and guests to the review.
Joining the panel were Extension and Development Center Director Ricky Becodo of West Visayas State University, Extension and Community Services Director Roger Ray Manzano, and Director Rhoderick Samonte of the Center for Internationalization and External Relations.

CAS ECS Coordinator and Program Leader April Abrera presented the terminal report for Project VITAL (Visualizing and Innovating Talent through Art and Language).
Meanwhile, BA Social Science Program Chair Robert Pardillo presented the terminal report for Project PDL: Pagdating ng Sakuna, Dapat Laging Handa.
Six proposals were also presented for review and approval.
Program Leader Joy Picar led the presentation of TWINEMATICS: Women’s Empowerment and Livelihood Sustainability through Mathematical Handwoven Craft. Joining Prof. Picar in the presentation were Prof. Alfredo Alave and Engr. Romeo Desabella.
Prof. Picar also presented the program entitled BANAGDATA: Barangay Empowerment and Data Governance for Transparent Administration. Joining her in the proposal were Prof. Alave, Engr. Desabella, Prof. Annabel Elano, Prof. Annabel Elano, Prof. Chiryl Oleans, and Prof. Yvonne Salde.
Prof. Leonisa Impil presented the proposal on Heritage and Harmony: mabakod nga Dunang Manggad, Bugal sang Cabagtasan Tribal Council with Prof. Lovely Granfiel, Prof. Julie Ann Mario, and Prof. Ana Magdalena Cherniguin.
The program proposal entitled Guya sa Pamatan-on: Mental Health and Psychosocial Support and Trauma Informed Interventions Program was presented to the panel by Prof. Aileen Tranuilo together with Director for Guidance Services Juben Palermo, Prof. Riza Deocadez, and Prof. Rhea Linaja.
Prof. Enna Bodoso led the presentation of the proposal for Bayanihan para sa Kauswagan. Joining her were Prof. Emily Vingson, Prof. Glen Peter Garcia, Prof. Charmaine Sabio, Prof. Rubie Lyn Barrientos, and Prof. Stephen Solidarios.
Director for Research and Development Services Ricky Acanto presented the proposal for NatPro LabPro: Advancing natural products research for innovative and sustainable solutions for community engagement with Prof. Mary Grace Langcoy and Prof. Julie Ann Mario.
