Program and project proponents involved in proposal and terminal report development at the College of Computer Studies underwent the PACE Training by Extension and Community Services on March 27, 2025 at the TBI of the Research, Extension, and Innovation Hub, Talisay Campus.
The PACE (Policies, Allocation, Creation, Endorsement) Training was held to help the participants understand current policies and orient them on the latest guidelines and requirements concerning extension programs.
The whole-day activity was led by ECS Director Roger Ray Manzano and facilitated by CCS Extension Coordinator Retchell Ortega.
VP for Research, Extension, and Intellectual Property Andrew Eusebio Tan also gave words of encouragement to the participating faculty members of the college.

The training participants, headed by CCS Dean Joe Marie Dormido, were composed of Jennifer Juaneza, Romeo Tanate Jr., Gaily Rey April Guzon, Gerle Mae Alabado, Gracel Geroy, Danes Tumabing, Cristine Redoblo, Charwin, Padilla, Trissa Gicaro, Norberto Mondero, and Michael Jhon Lacaba.

The training also provided an opportunity for the participants to learn more about proposal development through a deep dive into proposal writing techniques, budget allocation, and specifics of drafting the work plan.
ECS also outlined the steps for submitting proposals for in-house review and endorsement. The afternoon session was spent drafting proposals based on the TRC compliance and suggestions.
The program leaders then presented their outputs and submitted the revised draft for review.
