The discussions highlighted CHMSU’s processes for the donation of waste materials, sale of waste materials, and sale of unserviceable equipment and furniture, all anchored on transparency, accountability, and compliance with government regulations.

The activity provided the DepEd Victorias team with practical insights and legal bases for implementing their own disposal mechanisms, ensuring proper asset management and preventing misuse, losses, or audit findings.

Through this collaboration, CHMSU reaffirmed its role as a partner institution in promoting good governance and sustainable practices in public sector property management, while DepEd Victorias gained valuable knowledge to strengthen its newly formed Disposal Committee.
