Graduating students from all campuses gathered at the Talisay Campus to learn essential information as they prepare to leave the university, in an orientation held on May 28, 2025, as part of the weeklong Seniors AIM HIGH celebration.
CIER Director Rhoderick Samonte encouraged the seniors to continue living out CHMSU’s core values, known as ExCELSIOR—Excellence, Compassion, Environmentalism, Love of Country, Integrity, Openness, and Resilience.
Meanwhile, President Rey Demisana, of the Federation of CHMSU Alumni Associations, gave an overview of what graduating students can expect as new members of the alumni community.
He also held a brief transparency session on the use of alumni fees, which help support homecoming events, scholarships, and emergency assistance for alumni and their families.
OSAS Director Maria Victorias Violanda and Alumni Relations Director Melanie Porquez encouraged the graduates to take advantage of the Career and Job Fiesta, designed to connect them with potential employers and career opportunities.
Also present in the activity were Career and Placement Services Coordinator Roxanne Rivera and partners from government agencies and industries.
