Greening CHMSC Task Force conducts Reorientation and Seminar-Workshop to Greening CHMSC and Education for Sustainable Development

Reorientation to Greening CHMSC and Education for Sustainable Development Seminar-Workshop was held at the Function Hall, Green Building of Talisay Campus on April 19, 2022 as part of CHMSC’s Earth Month celebration.

Facilitated by Greening CHMSC Chair and Director for External Affairs Rhoderick K. Samonte who served as resource person and assisted by Ma. Victoria G. Violanda, Director for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, the seminar-workshop was attended by 63 representatives from the administration, faculty, students, administrative staff, security, and janitorial personnel.

The seminar-workshop included a review of the 10-year old Greening CHMSC journey of the institution and its vision, mission, and core values in light of CHMSC’s transition to university status, a talk on Education for Sustainable Development: a whole school approach, and a workshop which produced a set of plans and next steps forward toward CHMSC’s vision of becoming a leading GREEN institution of higher learning in the global community by 2030.
