GSU benchmarks at CHMSU

A delegation from Guimaras State University visits Carlos Hilado Memorial State University Talisay Campus for a benchmarking activity today, June 13, 2024.

GSU’s planning and project management unit personnel is at CHMSU to gain insights into the procurement strategies, processes, and best practices the university employs for design and build projects, including the selection criteria for design, build, and quality assurance measures.

CHMSU President Norberto Mangulabnan welcomed the GSU delegation led by Campus Administrator Jonathan Gabion.

The GSU delegation visited the Bids and Awards Committee Office, the newly opened Research, Extension, and Innovation (REI) Hub, and the ongoing construction at the Engineering Annex Building.

Joining Gabion were Shyra Maximo, Planning Officer III; Norton Morada, Planning Officer; Lester Tabiano of the Planning Unit; Jun Suganob, Project Development Officer II; Randy Galve, Procurement Officer; Gail Gwyneth Ronzales, Human Resource Management Officer II; Felizardo Valdez III, Project Development Officer III;  Jo-Em Gabion, Project Development Officer I; Eric Catalan – of the QMC / Planning and Project Development Office; and Lenio Galapin, driver.

 After CHMSU, the GSU delegation is set to visit the State University of Northern Negros on June 14.
