The Gender and Development Office, in partnership with the Amlig Health Clinic (HIV/AIDS Core Team) of Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, held a webinar on HIV/AIDS Awareness for first-year CHMSU students on Dec. 2, 2024.
Dr. Carina Frayco, unit head of the Amlig Health Clinic, discussed the importance of HIV/AIDS awareness and demystified myths and prejudices towards the epidemic and people living with HIV.
She also answered questions from the virtual audience and urged the participants to get tested during the caravan on all campuses from Dec. 3 to 6.
The webinar is part of the observance of World AIDS Day on Dec. 1 and the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women.
