IPMO unveils CHMSU Patent Library

The Intellectual Property Management Office officially unveiled the CHMSU Patent Library in a blessing ceremony held on August 1, 2025, at the Research, Extension, and Innovation Hub in Talisay Main Campus.

The Patent Library serves as more than just a repository; it also functions as a dynamic resource center that supports inventors, students, and researchers in navigating the world of patents and innovation—whether it’s developing an original idea or replicating an existing invention.

Led by IPMO Director Armando Reosura, the blessing of the CHMSU Patent Library symbolizes the university’s unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in research.

It also reflects CHMSU’s dedication to producing high-quality, impactful research outputs that aim to address real-world challenges and contribute to national development.

Key officials present during the blessing were President Norberto Mangulabnan, University, VPAA Jay Estrellas and AVPAA Ma. Riza Manalo, Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Intellectual Property.

Also present were Director for Research and Development Ricky Acanto and Deputy Director for Research Ethics Ivy Aboy.
