CHMSU National Service Training Program conducted its Face-To-Face General Orientation on September 24, 2022, at Talisay (Main) Campus. Pastor Joebert Ramos, His Life Ministries gave an inspirational message to all the students. Elmer A. Gumban, PhD, Director for National Service Training Program welcomed new enrollees and introduced the NSTP instructors to all the students, and briefly discussed the 3 components of NSTP: The Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC), the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), and the Literacy Training Service (LTS). NSTP aims to instill the spirit of nationalism and promote active involvement of students as part of the core values of Love of Country and Social Responsibility. The orientation ended with a campus clean-up.
The NSTP Face-To-Face General Orientation was also conducted simultaneously in all campuses of CHMSU.
