The CHMSU community welcomed the Department of Business Management of North Eastern Mindanao State University Cantilan Campus in a benchmarking activity at the Talisay Campus Conference Room, Nov. 15, 2024.
The NEMSU delegation was welcomed by a team of CHMSU officials led by Vice President for Academic Affairs Jay Estrellas.
Led by Department Chair Jeni Therese Bona, the delegates of NEMSU learned about the College of Business Management and Accountancy from Dean Marissa Quezon, BS Hospitality Management Program Chairperson Marnyl John Abeto, and BS Business Administration Chairperson Jaime Berbano.
Director Rhoderick Samonte of the Center for Internationalization and External Relations also gave a brief introduction on the internationalization programs and initiatives of the university.
Abeto also toured the delegates from Surigao del Sur to the various facilities of the BSHM program in the Talisay Campus.
The NEMSU delegation was composed of Bona, Human Resouce Management Program Chair Louisville Urquia, Financial Management Program Chair Sarah Ypparaguirre, Hospitality Management Program Chair Hannah Rejoice Erlina, Tourism Management Program Chair Alaiza Maureen Aquino, and faculty member Rey Andrew Laurez.
Also present during the benchmark activity were Assistant VPAA Riza Manalo, Curriculum and Instructional Material Development Director Francis Jose Bearneza, and Krizza Dia Jocame and Keith Brandon Cari-an of CIER.
