PeacePond conducted the Solid Waste Management Symposium at the CHMSU Binalbagan Campus on February 28, 2025.
Checcs Osmeña-Orbido, PeacePond co-founder and project manager for the Blastik Project, led the lecture on the importance of solid waste management in the academic setting.

The symposium is organized by the Unified Organizations for Environment Protection (UOEP), Center for Internationalization and External Relations, and the University Student Government.
Binalbagan Campus Executive Director Joevelle Vergara, UOEP adviser Eduard Advincula, CIER coordinator Sheila Ticar gave messages encouraging the university community to double down on the implementation of solid waste management on campus.
