The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Board for Professional Teachers recognized CHMSU’s College of Education for its performance in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers.
During the oath-taking ceremony at the Iloilo Convention Center in Iloilo City on July 13, 2025, PRC lauded CHMSU for ranking seventh in the Top Ranking Schools (Secondary Level) with 100-299 examinees and a passing rate of at least 90 percent.
COED Dean Ophelia Duayan and the faculty members of the college proudly received the recognition from PRC VI Regional Director Romel Balisang, PRC Board for Professional Teachers Vice Chair Paz Lucido and Board Member Paraluman Giron.
Meanwhile, BSED major in Science graduate Ma. Carmel Delada was also recognized for placing fourth in the LEPT.
Joining Dean Duayan were BSED English Program Chair Sarah Galang, BPED Program Chair Gertrudes Anastacia Lopez, BSED Math and Science Program ChairJomeo Sumalapao.
Philippine Association for Teachers and Educators, Inc. (PAFTE) Visayas Chapter Vice President Filomena Dayagbil and Region VI Chairperson Sunny Gabinete also joined the awarding ceremony.
