Project PEACE holds training-mentoring seminar for ARBOs

Project PEACE (Partnership for Empowerment, Advancement, and Continuing Education) of Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organizations held a whole-day training-mentoring seminar on October 5, 2022 at the Function Hall, Green Building. It was attended by 61 farmers from 32 ARBOs. The seminar started with a meet and greet dialogue between the farmers and SIFI’s international partners in its Responsible Sourcing from Small Landowners (RSS) and Integrated ARBO Child Labor and PPE (IACAP) programs and services.

It was followed by a presentation from Nestor Padilla, General Manager of CAPGEM about its Coop Kapatid program that may be availed of by all ARBOs. In the afternoon, Atty. Annie Rose Rosales Cuaysing, CHMSU’s Legal Counsel gave a lecture on writing minutes and board resolutions; and Social Science Professor Sol Estares lectured on handling inter-personal, organizational, and community conflicts. The training ended with a synthesis and evaluation facilitated by Rhoderick K. Samonte, Project PEACE Leader.
