Vice President for Administration and Finance Rosalinda Tuvilla welcomed Atty. Annabelle Corral-Respall, SEC Bacolod Director, Data Analyst Reanne Kessle Rotor, and Administrative Officer Jon Maria Paolo Javier during their meeting held at the Business Center, Administration Building in Talisay (Main) Campus.
VPAF Tuvilla, who is the chair of the Records Management and Improvement Committee (RMIC), was accompanied by Records Management Officer Rebecca Gegantoni and Administrative Officer Carmeli Armones of the Records Management Office.
SEC inquired on how CHMSU processes the disposal of its valueless documents in accordance to the guidelines of the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP).
CHMSU presented two modes of disposal it previously utilized–the burial of valueless documents in 2016, and the sale method in 2022 and 2025.
The SEC officials also learned about internal processes starting from the inventory of records of each office in all four campuses of the university, to its endorsement to NAP up to its eventual actual disposal.
