In celebration of the 2024 International Women’s Month, the College of Education (COED) College Student Council organized several events including an interactive talk given by Elvie Samson, Director for Gender and Development.
HerStory is in harmony with UN Sustainable Development Goal 5, which focuses on achieving gender equality. It captures the core of recognizing the resilience and strength of women and intends to inspire, uplift, and advocate for diversity within our academic institution.
HerStory includes HERBeat: Harana para sa Kababaihan, Inhersight: Interactive Gender-Based Discourse, HERVision: Women’s Story in Focus (Visual Storytelling Contest), and EmpoWearHER: Wear Your Hue, Stand for Women’s Month which was participated by the students, faculty and staff.
