CHMSC Talisay Alumni Assn newly elected officers take oath

The NOSAT-NOCAT-PSC-CHMSC-CHMSU Alumni Association (CHMSC Talisay Alumni Association) recently elected its new officers for 2025-2027 during its second quarter regular meeting.

On June 22, 2025, the alumni of Negros Occidental School of Arts and Trades, Negros Occ. College of Arts and Trades, Paglaum State College, Carlos Hilado Memorial State College, and CHMSU gathered at the Dining Hall, Talisay Campus, to celebrate milestones and discuss the plans of the organization.

During the event, seven executive officers were elected and officially took their oath of office.

Jose Rabbi Malaga was elected as President, with Lilian Planella as Vice President, Jerry Ilad as Secretary, Pablito Bacong as Treasurer, Jeric Pancho as Auditor, Jose Edwin De Pedro as Public Information Officer, and Salome Diadio as Business Manager.

In addition, the new Board of Directors was confirmed, composed of Jasmine Alimon, Sonny Almonia, Christopher Rey Bravo, Eduardito Campos, Ernelinda Ebalde, Dennis Penado, Renato Salmingo, Melchor Taclobos, and Jerry Tingson.

Moreover, in the second quarter regular meeting, the officers and members discussed the approval of the budget for urgent projects, including the funds for scholarships, said Pres. Malaga.

The Federation of Alumni Association of CHMSC (FAAC) Inc. is also set to elect its new set of officers in July, said Malaga, who is the outgoing vice president of the federation, composed of alumni associations from all four campuses.
