“We are living in a time when digital platforms, the freelance economy, and e-commerce are transforming the way we live, work, learn, and earn,” said Talisay City Mayor Maria Rowena Lopez-Lizares.
Attended by over 1,200 students from state universities and secondary schools in Talisay City, the one-day expo featured four panel discussions led by industry experts and government agencies.

These panels represented the pillars of digital careers and workforce competitiveness: The Builders, The Upskillers, The Homegrowns, and The Partners.
“We need to mainstream technology in the fight against corruption and in promoting transparency,” said Atty. Jocelle Batapa-Sigue, convenor of the Philippine ICT Innovation Network.
Students also explored exhibits from partner government agencies, leaders in the digital and innovation industries, and homegrown start-ups.

“This expo is a bold step toward building an inclusive, innovative, and resilient digital ecosystem for our nation,” said CHMSU President Norberto Mangulabnan.
President Mangulabnan added, “Technology is reshaping industries, governance, education, and even the way we live our daily lives.”
