CHED, INRC monitor CHMSU’s IZN, digitalization initiatives post AIM-GALP of Pres. Mangulabnan

The CHMSU community warmly welcomed Commission on Higher Education Commissioner Myrna Mallari, Atty. Lily Freida Milla of the CHED’s International Affairs Service, and members of the Internationalization National Review Committee (INRC) this morning at the Function Hall, Talisay Campus.

CHED and INRC officials are in CHMSU for the Monitoring of the Asian Institute of Management – Global Academic Leadership program (AIM-GALP) Re-entry Action Plan of International Continuing Professional education (ICPE) of President Norberto Mangulabnan.

Commissioner Mallari, who is the Chair-Designate of the CHMSU Board of Regents, also sits as the lead of the INRC. She was joined in the monitoring by Co-Lead Beejay Sebastian and secretariat members Jerome Duque and Donna Pamella Gonzales.

CIER Director Rhoderick Samonte highlighted CHMSU’s internationalization initiatives in his presentation “Global GREEN CHMSU: A journey towards a Sustainable World through the nexus of Internationalization and Collaboration.”

Meanwhile, El Jireh Bibangco, Deputy Director for Scientific Publication, also presented the university’s efforts towards digitalization in the presentation entitled “From Data to Decisions: Advancing CHMSU’s Digital Transformation.”

Also present in the activity were OIC-Chief Education Program Specialist Danebeth Narzoles of CHED Regional Office VXIII – Negros Island Region, VP for Academic Affairs Jay Estrellas, VP for Administration and Finance Rosalinda Tuvilla, VP for Research, Extension, and Intellectual Property Ma. Riza Manalo, Asst. VPAA Engr. Russel Dela Torre, and Director for Quality Management Yrika Marie Dusaran.
