The College of Education in CHMSU Binalbagan Campus, together with the Teacher Education Student Organization (TESO), held its Send-Off and Thanksgiving Ceremony at the Supt. Dionisio Guilbert Convention Hall, September 4, 2026.
The event honored passers of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) from the Bachelor of Elementary Education, Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science, and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education major in Home Economics programs. Takers of the upcoming September 2026 LEPT also joined for their send-off.

The activity began with a Holy Mass officiated by Rev. Fr. Ronelo Secatin, followed by the program, which included welcome remarks from Prof. Regina Mañoso and messages of gratitude from Campus Executive Director Joevelle Vergara and Campus Registrar Meo Mallorca, Alumni Representive to the Board of Regents.
The highlights of the ceremony included personal reflections shared by LEPT passers representing each program, the symbolic “Sharpening of Pencil” led by Prof. Jacqueline Tillo, words of challenge to LEPT takers from College of Fisheries Dean Imee Perante. The send-off also served as a challenge to the takers to prepare and do well in the board exam.
