Carlos Hilado Memorial State University celebrates the 55th year of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) with a Flag Raising Ceremony held today, August 8 at the University Plaza, Talisay Campus.
This event is in solidarity with the rest of the ASEAN Community as it continues to unite and strengthen itself, especially as it tackles the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, the ASEAN hosted by Cambodia moves forward with the theme “ASEAN A.C.T.: Addressing Challenges Together.”
The ceremony was organized by the Center for External Affairs in collaboration with the Federation of Student Governments and the Social Science Guild and was attended by selected administrators, faculty, staff, and students.
