Engr. Russel Dela Torre, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, was recently named as a member of the TESDA Regional Training Center-Talisay TTI Advisory Council (TAC).
The former Director for Information and Communications Technology received his three-year Certificate of Approval from TESDA Director General Secretary Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez and TESDA NIR Interim Regional Director Niña Connie Dodd in an awarding ceremony held last September 13, 2025 at Regional Training Center-Talisay.

The TESD Technical Institution (TTI) Advisory Council plays a vital role in providing policy advice and guidance, strengthening industry-academe-government collaboration, and ensuring that local skills needs are effectively addressed.
AVPAA Dela Torre is now a TAC member together with Chief TESD Specialist Eudina David of TESDA RTC-Talisay, Talisay City Planning and Development Officer Marmelo Sausi, President Rowena Tupas Sunshine Sapphire Construction and Supply, Inc., Campus Director Eric Malo-oy of the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas, and President Nena Samillano of the Association of Technical Institutions of Negros Occidental.
